Exfoliate your skin & shower the night before the tan - DO NOT SHOWER ON THE DAY OF THE TAN BEFORE COMING TO THE APPOINTMENT.

If possible, exfoliate 2-3 times leading up to the day of the appointment with the last time being the night before. Do not do this right before the appointment.

Avoid scrubs with oils as they may leave an oil residue preventing the spray tan solution from soaking into your skin properly.

(Ask us about the exfoliation mitt we carry in-studio created specifically for spray tan preparation).

On the days leading up to the tan, moisturize your skin often including the night before the tan after you did your exfoliation in the shower!

The more your skin is moisturized, the better. But don’t use lotion ON the day of the appointment (if your hands are extremely dry, you may use lotion on your hands the day of the appointment).

Drink lots of water on the days leading up to your spray tan so your skin is also hydrated from the inside out. Hydrated skin holds the tan better!

Shave 24 hours before the tan, NOT the day of the tan.

Waxing should be done at least 48 hours prior so that no residue is left on the skin.

Manicures/pedicures should also be done 24-48 hours before the tan.

If you must do nails afterwards, we recommend just a polish change as you want to avoid any soaking & scrubbing that occurs with a full mani/pedi.

On the day of the tan, do not shower! You should have already done that the night before the appointment when exfoliating. Do not put any product on the skin. This includes lotion, oil, deodorant (especially spray deodorants or the Dove brand deodorant), serums, perfume, or makeup.

Bring dark, loose clothing. No jeans, leggings, or bras can be worn right after the appointment (unless you’re wearing the bra during the tan).

Wearing baggy sweatpants or loose pajama pants and a long sleeve shirt or baggy sweater is best. We want to avoid skin on skin contact immediately after the tan, so shorts and dresses are not ideal.

If it looks like it may rain, bring an umbrella as you cannot get your skin wet after the spray tan until your first shower.

Wearing slides or shoes that are not super tight is best. Loose socks are fine.

Please do not come to the appointment with jewelry on. Jewelry must be removed before arriving -especially bracelets, necklaces, and anklets.

Please leave all jewelry at home as you cannot put it back on after the tan, it often takes a lot of time to remove finicky necklaces or bracelets, and clients will regularly forget expensive and sentimental jewelry at our studio.

*We are not responsible for jewelry or any other valuable/sentimental items left at our studio or any lost/stolen items.

If you have any sunburns or recent sun/UV damage at all, we will not be able to spray tan you.

This includes minor sunburns, even if there was no peeling or intense redness.

Please note: it is the client's responsibility to prevent UV and sun damage prior to the appointment. Any appointments that we must turn away/cancel within 48 hours of the appointment time due to UV damage will be treated as a late cancellation and charged 100% of the service fee.

Ideally, lash extension appointments should be booked at least 1 day prior to the spray tan appointment, not after the spray tan.

If you’re absolutely not able to do your lashes until after your spray tan:

• If you’re doing your lashes the same day, before rinsing off the tan, you may want to consider not tanning your face.

• If you’re doing your lashes after you’ve rinsed off the tan, you could still tan your face but potentially run the risk of the lash tape/eye cushions removing some of the tan. It doesn’t happen often but it’s up to you if you want to risk that -you can always fix with makeup or purchase our take home touch up spray.

We kindly ask you not to bring any guests with you unless they are also booked for an appointment. This includes children as we’re located in a beauty studio with other service providers using lots of equipment that can be hot, sharp, heavy, expensive to replace if broken, or potentially came into contact with chemicals.

For liability reasons and out of respect for the other service providers in the studio, we will have to turn away anyone who arrives with a guest especially if the guest is a minor. This would be considered a late cancellation and the fee would apply.

PARKING: there’s FREE parking directly in our plaza as well as on the street and in surrounding plazas.

Walk in to unit 5 and enter the white door immediately to the left (on ground floor, not upstairs). IF THE DOOR IS LOCKED: please check your text reminder which automatically gets sent a few hours before the appointment as it will include a DOOR CODE to enter. We do this for client and staff safety since we often take evening appointments after dark. Make yourself at home in our cozy seating area :)

Late arrivals: please note we have a 5 minute grace period. Spray tans are a quick service and we’re often booked back to back so please allow yourself ample time to arrive on time and take into consideration the possibility of traffic. If a client is more than 5 minutes late, the appointment will be cancelled with the cancellation fee applied. Thank you for understanding!
